chur my name is eparaima i had the oppurtunity alongside my coaching partner hazer to teach the year 9 students are new game called ultra rip.2pesl were taught by jeremy (mad dawg) on our to teach and play the game he taught us many strategies and skills audio,tactial,visual to overcome any barriers that we may have come across during our process to the game.we had to take a group of six students and teach them the ripping process,game process etc.

ReplyDeleteThe game sounds like a lot of fun and you have learnt some great skills. I loved the way you then taught the game to someone else. That is the best way of reinforcing the knowledge for yourself.
Just one small suggestion, if you take a minute to check the punctuation and spelling in your blog posts, it would really help your readers. It is difficult to read blogs that don't have full stops to indicate the end of a sentence.
Keep up the learning and have fun.

ReplyDeleteIt's great to see you coaching some of the year 9s! I would love to know what some of the barriers were that you overcame, and how you managed to do so? This would be helpful reflection for yourself but also for when we teach the same/ similar topic for other classes.
